Costly innovation
Friday the 13th seems like an appropriate date for a company to oust a respected executive, and that's just what Vodafone has done. Just six months after Thomas Geitner was placed at the heart of Vodafone's new business and innovation effort, which it has ambitions of growing into 10% of group revenues by around 2010, he's catching the night train out of Newbury. Can't wait to see where he turns up next.
