The winter of our discontent

Well, it's Monday, I turned 39 again today, I have just been given a pay rise so derisory that it will cost more in administrative costs than the actual value of the extra cash they're giving me (who ever said that a high ranking, unusual ideas and interesting CV should matter to a bureaucracy which focuses on page count?), and it looks like rain. Still, I guess it could be worse. I could be an O2 customer, like Mark Kubrick (any relation, I wonder?), who seems to be having a hell of a time.

UPDATE: When I see this, I think there must be spambots at work, or the system is being gamed in some other way. We don't have 798 employees in London.
