Interesting diptych billboard near my house. On the left, an offer from British Gas to lock in current pricing until 2010. On the right, fairly illegibly, is O2, offering "treats" - free minutes and texts every month. This campaign features whimsical photos of mundane objects wrapped, in the blue faux-neon effect which is O2's current trademark, as though they are pieces of candy. In this example, it's a small trailer home (what the Brits call a "caravan"), which you can presumably afford to buy with the money British Gas will save you over the next four years. Maybe it's the future home for some telco marketing executives...
