A tale of two industries

Interesting diptych billboard near my house. On the left, an offer from British Gas to lock in current pricing until 2010. On the right, fairly illegibly, is O2, offering "treats" - free minutes and texts every month. This campaign features whimsical photos of mundane objects wrapped, in the blue faux-neon effect which is O2's current trademark, as though they are pieces of candy. In this example, it's a small trailer home (what the Brits call a "caravan"), which you can presumably afford to buy with the money British Gas will save you over the next four years. Maybe it's the future home for some telco marketing executives...
