Digging in

If a suitable metaphor for the UK broadband market is trench warfare, then I guess if you're already in a hole, keep digging. Dealing with the fallout of TalkTalk has become almost a national obsession, so I can see why Carphone Warehouse would want to purchase someone else's sunk costs, and more importantly, relatively high levels of customer satisfaction, to make the story more credible. Still, with all the very high profile negative coverage, I wonder how the average AOL customer will react to the news?
